this is what
the entrails advise today
'Wisdom ceases to be wisdom when it becomes too proud to weep, too grave to laugh, and too selfish to seek other than itself.' I have been quoting the poet, Khalil Gibran, this week - and today I'd like to put forward his suggestion that, sometimes, we can all get a bit too caught up in what we consider to be 'sensible.' Sometimes, the most sensible thing a person can do is something silly; and the wisest choice is also the craziest option! Don't feel obliged to stick within narrow confines and official limits today.
i don't know that anyone has ever accused me of being sensible but i quite like the advice to be silly. it's a bit cheerier than yesterday's:
'Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need.' So said the poet, Khalil Gibran. You may fear that you are going round in ever-decreasing circles, but you are travelling down a difficult road; one that many people would take one look at and walk away from. You are wondering whether you were right to make the choice that you did but it is a) far too late to turn back and b) far too early to conclude that you have made a mistake. What's happening now is what has needed to happen for a long time.

I loathe Khalil Gibran. Wedding readings for people who don't understand poetry.
which makes it perfect for horoscopes :)
