The intensity of light coming from the moon is haunting.
Love the subtlety and luminosity of this work - especially the coloured hand stitching on grey.

It's such a thoughtful interpretation of the theme. At first glance it looks like three windows of a room, looking out at the pale moon in mist. Closer, though, and the background streaks become faint illumination in high translucent clouds; closer still, and the twig forms are slender trees silvered by moonlight. Are we in a room, or outside looking at the sky, or following a path in a midnight forest? The moon reflects sunlight - taking out all the colour, save a pearly grey - which reflects in turn from the clouds, from the trees, perhaps from the windows around us. Just cloth, and stitches, and monochrome ink, but it's filled with light and depth and mysterious places.
