having to post from flickr as blogger won't let me in - here's my interpretation of the 'animal kingdom' theme.
the photo is of a mummified rat found under the fig tree in my back yard - printed onto silk dupion and organza, layered onto wool suiting and linen, hand dyed cotton mesh, covered in tulle, stitched, heat gunned and rubbed with oil stick
