When we were in Brisbane a couple of weeks ago we went to the Gallery of Modern art and were absolutely captivated by a beautiful, light and clever sculpture by Argentinian artist
Tomas Saraceno.

The nets are so like the "ghast fruit" of Shelagh Wakely ... containers of wire (and sometimes fabric) in which she left fruit to dry out. Just discovered this artist via her exhibition at one of my favourite art+coffee places. Some pix of her work are here
